Lucknow — The Uttar Pradesh Revenue Council today formally launched the much-awaited Lekhpals’ Dashboard, marking a major leap toward digitization and transparency in land and revenue administration. The inauguration was held at the Sarojini Nagar Tehsil in Lucknow, with Council Chairman Anil Kumar leading the proceedings.
Speaking at the event, Kumar said that with this new system, all tasks performed by over 22,000 lekhpals across the state will now be visible on a single digital platform. Through a single login, lekhpals can seamlessly manage records, process applications, and ensure smooth disposal of cases. Senior officials will also be able to monitor their work in real time, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
Highlighting the role of lekhpals as the closest link between citizens and the administration, Kumar said:
“Lekhpal Dashboard will make crucial tasks like land record updation, income–caste–residence certificate verification, Section 34, 80, 89 and 98 proceedings, halka mapping, and leave approvals available on one unified platform. This will not only simplify operations but also strengthen oversight at every level.”

He credited the NIC technical team, tehsildars, and lekhpals for their collective effort in developing the system, emphasizing that the initiative is the result of “months of hard work and dedication” rather than a mere technological upgrade.
Looking ahead, Kumar announced that the Council is already working on developing Revenue Inspector Dashboard, Tehsildar Dashboard, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dashboard. These tools, he said, will further enhance monitoring, efficiency, and transparency in revenue administration.
The event was attended by Lucknow District Magistrate Vishakh G, Sarojini Nagar SDM Ankit, senior IAS officers Ganga Rao and Anil Yadav, Tehsildar Sukhbir, along with officials from various tehsils across the district.
